Hey, it's a diner. It's supposed to be the place where you match good food and friendly service. I found it! I had a two-piece fish and chips, and enjoyed myself. I have been looking for a fish and chips spot since we moved to Sactown. Thanks for taking over this spot, Pj. I'll be back.

Always a treat to come here. A nice family owned operation that is clean, tasty and friendly. I always get the 2 piece fish and chips, plenty of food, I leave stuffed every time. The fresh cut fried zucchini is always good also. I keep meaning to try the burger, but the fish is so good. My go-to fish and chips in Sacramento.

I was in town on business and this was my first visit to this diner. It is a quaint little place. Everything appeared clean and organized. I went in the middle of the afternoon so, there were plenty of tables available at that hour but, I can see that there might not be enough during peak hours. I ordered the three-piece fish and fries which was more than enough for the two of us to split. The fish was battered perfectly and cooked to a perfect crispy golden color. The appearance and taste were spot on. The french fries were hot and fresh just slightly under salted for my preference however salt was readily available on the tables. The person working the counter / fryer I don't know if he's an employer or the owner but he was very friendly and attentive. The food was prompt and the service was outstanding. This is definitely on one of my go-to lists the next time I'm in town.

Incredible!!!! If you have to wait, it's worth it!!! I like that if they are busy they let you know right away and give you an approximate waiting time. It was really busy close to closing time on a Wednesday and people (regulars I'm guessing) kept showing up. P.J. is super nice and has everything under control, focused and on it! Thanks for making a break in my diet totally worth it!!!! Next time I'm going for the deep fried Twinkie and ice cream .

Went here with my significant other and the food was so. Good. The fish was crispy and light, and even the size itself was way bigger than I was expecting it to be. The asian guy who I presume runs the place is so nice and you can definitely tell he cares about the customers. The food is also great even as leftovers! When I took my leftovers out of the fridge, the fish was still crispy and hadn't gotten soggy or soft at all. If you're looking for a good place for fish & chips in Sac, please give this place a try.

I saw that this place was being renovated and being put under new management. I went yesterday after they reopened and the place looked amazing, so clean and bright! The fish and chips was so tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely will be coming back again! UPDATE: After my last visit last month, I came back again to try some more menu items, especially since I heard they added milkshakes and ice creams. This time around I tried the Grilled chicken sandwich and fries meal, it was so tasty and cooked well. I was really excited to try the milkshake. I got a cookies and cream ice cream milkshake with caramel drizzle and it complimented my meal perfectly. Next time, I look forward to trying the cake shake and see what that’s all about!

I ordered F/C and wife fish sandwich...wow, it tastes fresh and not overwhelmed with flour. Onion rings were great too. PJ was the chef and the server, very kind and professional. I’ll be back
